What Is Freeride Longboard? ?
I 'm am beginner looking to get my first longboard. i 'm 5 "11 weigh 205 and i 'm looking for a board that i can cruise around to go to school and mainly do some tricks when i get more expierenced. i 'm looking to get a board for $210 that can do a little of everything including bombing hills,sliding. do you guys think that the sector 9 mini shaka be a good all around board. what setup should i get (Read answers)

Hi, i`ve been really into longboard since the past few weeks and i need help sliding. first of all, i own a sector9 carbonite 2011, 74mm nine ball wheels, gullwing charger trucks, the dimensions are 41.0 " l x 9.25 " w. (picture) store.sector9.com/ product_images/ zoom/ ps115c-red.png.my question is, what type of things can i do with it, is it more overall and everything, can i slide with it? or it would be more difficult? please help. Longboard Duckdiving??
I have a longboard with a logo in the front called eagle, i used my shortboard and was able to duckdive easily but i cant on a longboard...is there a simple way to get past those waves (Read answers)

I have a special edition misfits skateboard deck that i love, but i don 't ride skateboards, i only ride longboards. so i was wondering if it would work well if i put longboard trucks and wheels onto the regular skateboard? not to do tricks or anything, just to cruise.all help is appreciated. :) (Read answers)

I 'm gonna use it as transportation (like going to school) and i like carving and sliding but i don 't really like going downhill. i have a budget of $200-$280, i weigh about 100lbs. so what longboard suits me the best? some say gravity hypercarve, loaded dervish and anything from sector 9. Good Cruising Longboard?
I live in a slightly hilly neighborhood, nothing too big, and i need a longboard for my son. he 's still in the "growing stage, " but he 's about 5 '9. as the local ski resorts close and spring comes around, i thought a longboard would be a good summer alternative to snowboarding. i researched a little, and i 'm guessing he would want a cruising longboard. he 's an excellent carver on a snowboard, and said he would like to be able to do that as well as use the longboard as a form of transportation. the videos and articles did little, and i 'm still clueless. suggestions for style of longboard and the longboard itself?
